Atrium School

Excellence with Joy

Capital Campaign

Through the generous support of our community we have successfully completed our Growing with Atrium Campaign. Our middle school opened on September 4, 2014 with grades six and seven and grade eight was added in September of 2015.

Over the course of the campaign the school enrollment grew by 80%. On September 8, 2015 we opened school with 136 students ranging from PreK – Grade 8.

To  Program – Each child brings something unique to Atrium School, to each and every classroom and activity.  Here, students teach one another, offering new and different perspectives, life experience, personalities, interests, strengths, questions and more. Building on our strengths, Atrium has tapped the creativity of our talented teachers who have developed meaningful, exciting opportunities for our students to engage in “real-world” problem solving and project based learning. The campaign allowed us to implement our progressive education program through the eighth grade.

To Facilities - From the new community space to the arts and music studio, from the new middle school classrooms to the additional space on the upper level for break-out space and our after school program, our renovated facilities provide a stimulating environment for learning and program development. The 8,000 square feet (approximately) of renovated space in the lower level has provided a home for our Middle School program and the new art and music studios, where daily connections, creativity and exploration is flourishing.

To Enrollment – The results of the campaign have already made us a stronger school, as expected we have increased inquiries and applications among prospective families. We have increased our enrollment from 76 students to 136 for the current school year.

Growth will enable Atrium School to deepen academic, cultural, athletic and social experiences for all our students. As we grow our community we will sustain our commitment to diversity and offer a richer educational experience for all.
