Excellence with Joy

Celebrating 35 Years

This year, we celebrate 35 years of Atrium School with great pride! We are thrilled to share with you three upcoming community gatherings celebrating this landmark year in Atrium School’s wonderful history.  Each event honors Ginny Kahn’s original vision of a progressive, family-oriented school where children’s kindness and empathy flourishes alongside challenging and engaging academic inquiry.  Both the arts and service have long been central to Atrium’s mission, and so we celebrate our 35th with a Film Festival, a Day of Service, and an Art Exhibition.

Community Day of Service

Saturday, April 28, 2018

Atrium will participate in a Day of Service for the larger Boston community on the morning of Saturday April 28, 2018 partnering with the Charles River Watershed Association (CRWA) to preserve our local natural resources.  This event honors Earth Day, and connects us to the National River Cleanup across America that day.  We’ll clean up the banks of the river that flows just a few steps from our campus and is closely tied to Atrium’s curriculum.  We’ll share further details about time and location as April approaches.

Art Exhibition

May 10–12, 2018

Atrium School will host a community Art Exhibition on May 10, 11 and 12, to celebrate the talented artists in our community.  Alumni, alumni parents, current and past faculty and staff will all exhibit their work on campus in the Atrium space.  More details will come later on public exhibition times, and how to submit a work for consideration.
