A is for Atrium: Atrium Agility with Artemis Yoga

From stretching in poses to relaxing on a mat, children simply enjoy how yoga makes them feel. Led by Tracy Affonso, an experienced yoga instructor and elementary school educator from Artemis Yoga in Watertown, this program will welcome young children and their parents or caregivers to a fun physical practice that includes music, movement, and games. The program introducdes a sense of breath awareness that makes young children feel more calm, confident, and resilient. Starting yoga at a young age builds a lifelong awareness of its benefits to body and mind and we invite you and your child to join us for this new and fun "A is for Atrium" program.

"A is for Atrium" is a series of Tuesday morning programs at Atrium School, 69 Grove St., Watertown, MA. Parking and the school entrance is at 35 Kondazian St. These free programs for young children and their parents or caregivers take place from 9:30-11:00am and include the featured program of the month, the "magical" Gym Bus, a song and story, art projects, and a nutritious nut-free snack.
