Rising to the Surface: Atrium's 2026 Compluvium Magazine

Dive into our newly renovated green campus and outdoor learning space, explore self-portraiture through the years, and hear from the parents of recent alums about their impactful Atrium experiences in the spring 2026 edition of the Compluvium magazine. This year’s publication provides a deeper look into Atrium’s tradition of powerful learning experiences through vibrant visuals and first-hand reflections from our faculty, families, and students.

The word “compluvium” describes the central opening of a roof in ancient Roman architecture – a space allowing for the flow of air, light, and rain into the atrium. We hope that the Compluvium magazine similarly serves as an entry point into the inner world of Atrium School, connecting our community to the broader educational landscape and historical moment we live in. Our 2026 issue includes an exploration of interdisciplinary projects at Atrium, retrospectives from alum families, stories of voice and belonging, the annual Report of Giving, and much more.
